iPropose is an iPhone application that belongs to the category of entertainment. It has been just launched on 7th April, 2009 and is observed to rapidly climb the popularity charts. The seller of this application is Daniel Hart and the current version running in the market is 1.1 versions. It is priced at $ 0.99 and takes up around 2.0 MB of the memory storage of your iPhone device.
Well, this application is ideal for certain situations. Say, you are into a serious relationship and now have decided to settle the affairs of life for good. For this you need to present that special question to your sweetheart. And you are in cold feet just at the prospect of shooting this question in front of him or her. Now, you need not worry anymore. Here is an iPhone application that is designed just for this purpose.
You simply need to install this application in the iPhone of your beloved and leave the ring icon displayed on her screen. The moment she clicks ‘yes’ you will get to hear a sound of applause but you also need to stay prepared to a ‘no’. And then you will be greeted with the sound of a broken heart.
This is undoubtedly a unique manner of proposing but be careful not to substitute this for hard core romance.

Right after the iPhone 3G came out, we posted a tip on how to turn off 3G and run on the older, slower EDGE standard to save battery life. Some people, who live in areas still lacking 3G coverage have no choice but to run on EDGE. Still others suffer so many dropped calls and other network problems they’ve downgraded to EDGE out of sheer frustration.
Based on the comments we received on the rumors of Apple re-releasing a new, low-end, iPhone 2G, there may be more iPhone 3G owners running on EDGE than we imagined.
So we’re asking you. Who here is running his or her iPhone 3G on EDGE and why?
Let us know in the comments below or head on over to our forum poll and make it all scientific-ish.

Here, you are provided with an Advanced Save feature that will enable the user to take a screen shot of the photo. This is a far more comfortable option as you can save these screen shots in an uncompressed manner. In comparison to the ‘save to disk’ button, they also happen to be of a much higher quality. Basically, there is a disadvantage when the Next and the Previous Buttons happened to get looped when you try to loop on the previous and the last photograph. But now, you are presented with a Counter that effectively makes you aware of the photo that you are currently working on.
In the latest version of the game, the user can derive the pleasure of a slide-show feature apart from the 15 new pictures added to the album. You also have an Alternating Ad for OnTrac Fit.

MacNN has unearthed an Apple patent that shows the concept of aluminum unibody design, first displayed in the current MacBook line, applied to iPods and even — potentially — the iPhone.
Gizmodo has presented some concepts along these lines before, though we’re still not sure how Apple would get around interfering with the 3G HSPA, and future 3.5G HSPA+ and 4G LTE and other radios inside a connected device (which is why they switched to plastic in the current gen iPhone to begin with).
Still, from a sheer design, build quality, and fit and finish perspective… drool.

Patent Watch: Apple Dreaming of Aluminum Unibody iPhones?

April 1st, 2009 — iPhone Hacks, Tips and Tricks

TheLoopBlog has posted, MacRumors confirmed, and we’ve been able to verify as well that as of yesterday’s iPhone 3.0 Beta 2, Apple has enabled 11 Home Screen pages for app storage, up from the previous 9. This raises the total number of apps available on the iPhone at once to 180 (up from 148).
So, is this an improvement in that we get more overall pages of apps for storage, or is this just more wear and tear on our already exhausted swiping fingers? Is more better, thanks Apple very much! Will Spotlight be the new swipe anyway? Or do they have to start considering different ways of letting us organize our apps as well?
